Divine Limousine: What To Expect When You Rent A Limo

Thinking about renting a limousine for your special night? Cruising through town in a limousine brings you the fun and excitement of traveling in style with friends and family. When it comes to renting a limo from Divine Limousine, what are the rules and policies you should follow? For today's article, we have put together a handy list of answers to some common questions when it comes to renting a Divine Limousine.

How far in advance should I reserve a limo?

Choosing how far in advance to rent a limo depends on the occasion. For example, if it's Prom night, a particular car you're looking for is probably going to get booked 2 or 3 weeks in advance. If you want to pick out the car you want, you may want to consider booking it 2 or 3 weeks before everybody else, otherwise, you could get stuck with whatever is left if anything is still available.

On a non-prom night (or regular night) however, there will generally be several available cars to choose from, so you can usually book as late as the same day and still be okay. To be safe, however, you might be better off booking at least 4 days to a week in advance. If you really want to get the vehicle of your choice, the earlier the better, otherwise you just have to settle with what's left or with whatever wasn't rented out.

Do you require a "damage" or "cleaning" deposit?

We understand that a small amount of mess happens. This is actually covered in the package cost. We have detailers go through the cars and clean them up on every single run. The drivers, of course, are always the last inspection point before the vehicle goes out to the next client. If it's an excessive mess then a cleaning fee may be applied.

A "damaging" fee may also be applied to cover the costs of breaking an item. Breaking a cup or busting out a radio will need to be covered usually by the person who has done the damage.

Do you allow food and drinks in the limousines?

Yes, food and drinks are allowed in the limousines. We usually supply the first round of drinks in many of our runs. These come with special beverages of sodas, water, and ice. We also have champagne cups for you to use as well during your special event. Some of our packages even come with Sparkling Cider with the option of upgrading to wine or champagne if you choose to do so (provided you are at least 21).

Food is allowed as long as you don't make a mess. Most limo companies don't allow food in their vehicles because they don't want to hassle with the mess. Divine Limousine, on the other hand, wants to ensure you have the best experience possible, and allowing food in our limousines is one way we do that :) No one wants to ride on an empty stomach.

Do you allow smoking in your vehicles?

Smoking is not allowed in the Divine Limousine vehicles, due to Utah state law. There's actually a $200 fine for smoking in the vehicle. Doing so would also forfeit the balance of the person's run.

When does my rental start?

The duration of the rental starts when the limousine leaves the yard and ends when the limousine returns back to the yard. However, if you choose to do the 5-hour package (among several other Divine Limo packages), we will include a free "Sixth Hour" to help cover some of that travel time.

What if we need to go over our time?

As long as time is still available for the limousine, going over is fine. But let's elaborate on this a little more with an example:

Let's say a specific vehicle is booked from 2'clock to 4'clock and the next client has needs to be picked up at 4:30 to start their run . . . this would require the limousine to be off for at least 20 to 30 minutes for detailing the vehicle and picking up the other client. In the circumstance that additional time us unavailable or if scheduling is already too tight, having extra time would not be permitted.

If there is an available time slot following the duration of your limousine package, then we do allow you to use the extra time with the charge being just regular standard time. This means if you are currently renting at $100 an hour for your vehicle, then any extra time will just be applied at $100 an hour.
